The Family Therapy program of SCYFC provides counseling for families with children (birth – 20 years) who are seeking assistance in establishing and maintaining positive behaviors and healthy relationships. We serve any family who can arrange transportation to our main office in North Oak Cliff or to our Harry Hines office.

Based on a flexible fee structure which allows families of all income levels to seek quality counseling, we offer a level of expertise that meets the highest professional standards. We are committed to maintaining a level of cultural sensitivity that enables families to receive counseling pertinent to their particular needs and challenges.

Our central concern is an abiding respect for the client and the family. Our therapists collaborate with clients to help them find solutions to problems, to develop more useful ways of interacting and to enhance the unique strengths of each family.

Case Work Services

When our clients need additional assistance, our case workers help them overcome obstacles that might otherwise hinder their progress in therapy, at camp or at school. Locating resources to help pay utility bills, assisting with immigration services, helping families apply for benefits, serving as a translator and advocate in school meetings and juvenile court, and identifying GED classes and job training programs for parents are examples of the wide array of services provided by our case workers to clients of Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Center's family therapy and school programs.
